Shots Fired Outside Disha Patani’s UP Residence; Goldy Brar Group Claims Responsibility

In the early hours of Friday, around 4:30 AM, two shots were reportedly fired outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s residence in Civil Lines, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Fortunately, the shots were an aerial discharge, and no injuries were reported.
Authorities suspect the firing was a retaliation linked to alleged remarks made by Disha Patani about Hindu spiritual leaders Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj. A group associated with Goldy Brar has claimed responsibility for the incident.Senior Superintendent of Police, Bareilly, Anurag Arya, told India Today, “Local police and a Special Operations Group (SOG) team immediately reached the location and began investigation. At least five teams have been formed to apprehend the accused.
Adequate security personnel are deployed at Patani’s residence to ensure the family’s safety.”Shortly after the incident, a social media post in Hindi emerged, naming two individuals, Virendra Charan (linked to Rohit Godara Group) and Mahendra Saran, as responsible for the firing. The translated message read:

“Jai Shri Ram, Ram Ram to all brothers. Today’s firing at Khushboo Patani/Disha Patani’s house (Villa No. 40, Civil Lines, Bareilly) was carried out by us because she insulted our revered saints Premanand Ji Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj. Attempts to demean our Sanatan Dharma will not be tolerated. This was just a warning trailer.
Next time, if disrespect continues, no one in their household will be spared. This message is for her and all film industry artists. Anyone who insults our religion and saints must be ready to face consequences. We are ready to go to any extent to protect our religion and society.”The police have not yet verified the authenticity of this post. Investigations are ongoing. Though Disha Patani and her sister Khushboo had previously criticised spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya for controversial remarks on women and live-in relationships, authorities are still probing the link between those comments and this attack.
