Shanaya Kapoor Starts Filming Her Debut Movie Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan in Azerbaijan; Shares a Heartfelt Moment

Shanaya Kapoor, daughter ofĀ Sanjay KapoorĀ andĀ Maheep Kapoor, has faced numerous delays in her acting debut, but she is finally ready to embark on her film career. On Friday, she shared behind-the-scenes footage from the set ofĀ Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, shot inĀ Azerbaijan, on her Instagram account.
In the photos, Shanaya is seen holding the film’s clapboard, smiling as she poses with it, proudly displaying the titleĀ Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. She captioned the post simply with the word,Ā ā€œgratefulā€¦ā€Ā Recently, she completed the Baku shooting schedule for this much-anticipated film.In the comments section, her mother, Maheep Kapoor, expressed her love with red heart and evil eye protection emojis.Ā Bhavana PandeyĀ congratulated Shanaya, writing,Ā

Before stepping into acting, Shanaya worked as an assistant director on the filmĀ Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which starredĀ Janhvi KapoorĀ in the lead role. She is also set to make her acting debut in the filmĀ Vrushabha.The bilingual filmĀ Vrushabha, featuring veteran actorĀ MohanlalĀ in the lead role, will also starĀ Zahrah S Khan, daughter ofĀ Salma Agha, andĀ Roshann Meka.
Besides Telugu and Malayalam, the film is slated for releases inĀ Tamil,Ā Kannada, andĀ Hindi. Produced byĀ AVS Studios,Ā First Step Movies, andĀ Balaji Telefilms,Ā VrushabhaĀ is scheduled to hit theaters onĀ October 16.Shanaya was initially set to make her Bollywood debut inĀ Karan Johar’sĀ Bedhadak, where she was cast asĀ NimritĀ alongsideĀ LakshyaĀ andĀ Gurfateh Pirzada. However, there have been no updates on the film’s production since last year, leaving fans eagerly awaiting more news on her journey in the film industry.
