Shah Rukh Khan Suffers Injury on ‘King’ Set, Advised One-Month Rest from Work

Shah Rukh Khan, one of Indian cinema’s most dedicated actors, has devoted over 30 years to captivating audiences with his performances. Revered as an inspiration by younger generations, the superstar continues to push boundaries with his work ethic. Recently, at the age of 60, while filming intense action scenes at Mumbai’s Golden Tobacco studio, Shah Rukh suffered an accident that resulted in an injury.
Though the exact nature of the injury remains undisclosed, however, as per the reports of Bollywood Hungama, Shah Rukh and his team promptly traveled to the United States for urgent medical care. “It’s nothing serious, but more of a muscular injury. Over the years, Shah Rukh has sustained multiple muscle injuries while performing stunts,” the source explained.
Following surgery, Shah Rukh has been advised to take a one-month break from filming to focus on recovery. “The next schedule for King will now begin in September or October, as SRK needs time off to heal. Once fully recovered, he will return to the sets with full energy,” the source added.
Due to this setback, the planned shoots for King from July to August at Film City, Golden Tobacco, and Yash Raj Films studios have been cancelled until further notice. The film, which is set to be shot in both India and Europe, now awaits a revised shooting schedule.
Despite this temporary pause, Shah Rukh Khan’s commitment to his craft remains unwavering. Fans eagerly await his return to the big screen, confident that once he recovers, the superstar will come back stronger than ever.
