This is the first time in the history of B Town when a filmmaker has taken the rights of a graphic novel called Rakshak – A Vigilante Superhero to make a movie. He is none other than the known director Sanjay Gupta who has under his production banner called White Feather Films has bought the rights of the said graphic novel, which was owned by Asvin Sirvastangam of Yali Dream Creations Ceo and Publisher.
While announcing the same on Twitter he said that he is pleased to announce that he has got the rights of the said graphics novel. He called it to be very much thrilling and it would give him an interesting experience to make a film on it. Check his tweet as under:

Talking about the novel, he said that it is one of the biggest books in terms of popularity after the other similar books like Batman and others. Talking about the novel he said that it has its own uniqueness as the character playing the vigilante is from an ex-Indian army marine commando background known as Marco, which is very much similar to US Navy Seals.
