Sandeepa Dhar is a known actress in B Town who is born and brought up in Sri Nagar, Kashmir. She had her schooling from National Public School in Bangalore and later went for her graduation in Advertising from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. However, her early schooling went at St. Michael’s Convent, Mankapur a very small town near Gonda, UP, India. She also learnt dance professionally and she has won a number of awards for dancing including Bharatnatyam for around eight years from the known Vani Ganpati. She was also trained in Contemporary and Jazz for four years from Shiamak Davar and Terence Lewis.

In the year 2010, she did her cinematic debut in Rajshri Production’s film called Isi Life Mein opposite Akshay Oberoi. Her performance was applauded giving her even the nominations at the leading platforms like Filmfare, Star Screen and Stardust. She then was seen in the movie Dabangg 2 and Heropanti in 2014 apart from the film Global Baba, while her upcoming movies include Gollu Aur Pappu and 7 hours to go. In Gollu Aur Pappu, She is playing a role opposite Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapur. She has now signed with Viacom 18 in a three movie deal.

Sandeepa is seen very much active while playing the female character in the global music known as West Side Story, which is produced by Australian Dance Theatre. Her character name in the same is Maria who happens to be a hopeless and innocent kind of girl who falls in love with Tony. The musical is very much inspired by the Romeo and Juliet from the Shakespeare play. Her musical theatre has been presented in more than eight nations like Japan, Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand and Philippines.
