Sanam Puri is a popular singer and vocalist from Bollywood who was born in New Delhi on 30th June 1992. He went to St. Columba’s School in New Delhi and later went to Kirori Mal College to complete his graduation, however, had to drop out owing to the excessive kind of ragging in his college from the seniors. Though he never got any formal training in music or singing, yet has expertise in a number of musical instruments including Piano, guitar and several other instruments. His journey in vocal field started at the age of 16 when he was in Muscat. He gives his credit to his mother and brother for encouraging him into this field and practising music.

Once he dropped out from college, he shifted to Mumbai, the city of dreams. This was the time when he became serious about his career in music and started learning and practising different musical instruments. Sanam with his brother Samar Puri and two other friends like Keshav Dhanraj and Venkar Subramanium joined hands together to form their own band called Sanam. In the year 2011, he was seen embarking with his first album called SQS Supastars and later in 2012 he came out with another album called Samar Sanam with his brother Samar Puri. As far as his professional life is concerned, it all started in 2013.

Sanam Puri recorded his first song in Bollywood called Dhat Teri Ki with Aditi Singh Sharma for the film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein for Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan Film, which was penned down by Kumaar and composed by Vishal-Shekhar. The manager of Puri was able to connect himself with the duo music composer called after giving the two the song Teri Aankhon Se. He then headed to another project called Hasee Toh Phasee in association with Vishal-Shekhar. Apart from the Hindi songs, he is also seen singing for the Telugu films, which include Chandamama Kathalu.
