Salman Khan Ventures Private Limited (SKV) has announced a bold Rs. 10,000 crore integrated township development in Telangana, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government. Spanning 500 acres, the project aims to create a next-generation smart city that seamlessly combines residential, commercial, entertainment, and sports facilities within a sprawling, vibrant hub.
The masterplan includes mixed-use commercial zones, branded residences, luxury hotels, and upscale retail avenues. The township will also feature large entertainment complexes and lifestyle destinations designed to appeal to modern urban lifestyles. Staying true to SKV’s vision of world-class infrastructure, the development proposes extensive sports and leisure amenities such as a championship-level golf course, racecourse, shooting range, and multiple advanced sports arenas.
A cutting-edge film studio is also included, reinforcing Telangana’s position as a growing hub for film and digital content production. SKV highlighted that this mega township is expected to boost long-term economic growth, create significant employment opportunities, attract tourism, and align with Telangana’s urban development goals. The company expressed appreciation for the Telangana government’s proactive support and trust in such a large-scale endeavor.
While expanding his business ventures, Salman Khan remains active in the film industry. He is currently shooting for Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co-starring Chitrangda Singh. The action drama is based on the June 15, 2020, clash in the Galwan Valley, where 200 Indian soldiers bravely defended their territory against nearly 1,200 Chinese PLA troops. Salman reportedly underwent intense physical preparation for the role. The film is slated for release next year.
