Salman Khan Receives New Death Threat from Lawrence Bishnoi Gang; Gang Allegedly Demands Apology or ₹5 Crore Payment: Report

Salman Khan has reportedly received multiple death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, with a recent threat demanding that he either apologize at a Bishnoi community temple or pay Rs 5 crores for the alleged killing of a black buck. According to PTI, a threat message believed to have originated from Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother was received by the Mumbai Police Traffic Control Room. Sources indicate that this message was sent via WhatsApp on the night of November 4, 2024.The message reportedly stated, “This is Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother speaking… If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he must either apologize at our temple or pay Rs 5 crores. If he refuses to comply, we will kill him. Our gang is still active.
The police are actively investigating the threat and are working to trace the individual responsible for the message. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), ANI announced that a case is being registered, stating, “In the case of a threat to actor Salman Khan, the registration process is underway at Worli Police Station. The number from which the message originated is being traced: Mumbai Police.”Previously, the assassination of politician Baba Siddique, a close friend of Salman Khan, led to heightened security measures for the actor. Despite the increased threat level, Salman has continued to work on his film Sikandar as scheduled, supported by enhanced security protocols.
India Today reported that “his entire team is being extra cautious about security arrangements, and Salman is making sure that no delays occur because of him.”Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Sikandar is slated for release on Eid 2025. Salman and Rashmika have been filming in Hyderabad, with plans to complete production by the end of the year.
