Salman Khan Receives New Death Threat as Anonymous Caller Demands Rs 2 Crore Ransom

In a troubling development regarding threats to Salman Khan, Mumbai traffic control received an anonymous message warning that the actor would be killed unless he paid a ransom of Rs 2 crores, according to police sources. This alarming threat, reported by India Today, was directed at the Mumbai Traffic Police and indicated that Khan’s life was in jeopardy if the payment was not made. In response to this new threat, the Worli police have registered a case against an unidentified individual and have launched an investigation to trace the origin of the threat. This incident follows the recent arrest of a 20-year-old from Noida, who was linked to a separate threat call targeting both Khan and MLA Zeeshan Siddique, the son of the late NCP leader Baba Siddique.
The suspect, identified as Mohammed Tayyab, also known as Gurfan Khan, was apprehended in Noida’s Sector 39 area on Tuesday. Reports indicate that he made a threatening call last Friday to Siddique’s public relations office in Bandra East, demanding ransom and issuing threats against both Siddique and Salman Khan. After the threatening call, an employee at Siddique’s office filed a complaint, prompting authorities to register a case at Mumbai’s Nirmal Nagar police station. Police sources confirmed that Tayyab, a resident of Delhi, was detained and a transit remand was secured to bring him to Mumbai for further questioning.Adding to the tension, Mumbai traffic police had recently received a WhatsApp message from someone claiming to be affiliated with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, demanding Rs 5 crores from Salman Khan. This message ominously warned that failure to comply could lead to Khan suffering the same fate as his friend Baba Siddique, who was murdered by the gang.
After the initial threat, the sender attempted to retract the statement, claiming it was sent by mistake and that no harm was intended. Nevertheless, the police acted swiftly and managed to track the sender down to Jharkhand. A special team was dispatched, resulting in the arrest of Shaikh Hussain Shaikh Mausin, a vegetable seller from Jamshedpur, as reported by PTI.
