Key Profiles & Creative Team:
Talking about the cast, we have Shaan R Grover stars alongside actress Chandralekha Mukherjee, who plays the titular character of Flower Waali. Mukherjee is a familiar face on Hindi television, known for her roles in RadhaKrishn and Crime Patrol. While the Director of the film it is helmed by Kamal Chandra, whose filmography includes Ab Dilli Dur Nahin (2023) and Hamare Baarah (2024). His next film, Aryabhatt Ka Zero, is slated for release next month.
Exploring Uncharted Locations in Madhya Pradesh
To capture the authentic, old-world aesthetic required for an 1850s setting, the production team spent a month shooting across historically rich and visually striking destinations in Madhya Pradesh, including Khajuraho, Bhopal, and Panna.
Speaking about his experience filming in the region, Shaan R Grover shared:
“We needed locations that would resemble the old world. Panna is still quite unexplored. Also, the kind of temples Khajuraho and Panna have along with the makbara (mausoleum), it was too enjoyable. For one month, I was at Khajuraho, Bhopal, and Panna. I had a great time in MP because of two things: the locations, which were so amazing and mesmerizing, and the people, who were so nice.”
With Flower Waali blending a rare 19th-century historical landscape with elements of science fiction, the film is generating strong interest as a fresh cinematic experiment for the breakout actor.
