Ruma Sharma is a TV actress and model who hails from Mumbai. She was born on 6th October 1995 in Mumbai. She completed her schooling at Lovely Public School in Mumbai. She then joined the National School of Drama Teenagers Group getting some crash courses on acting as she wanted to try her luck in this domain. She then joined Delhi University for her undergraduate program and is currently in her second year. She started her career in modeling appearing in numerous commercial ads and print ads.

She also appeared in Fashion Herald Magazine as FH Freshface Feature. Talking about her acting career, it all started in a show at Shree Ram Centre Auditorium of Delhi with a play when she was six years old. She then appeared in Jasoos Vijay produced by BBC World. She also was the part of the DD1 show Rahul as Tulsi. Some of her other shows as a child artist include DD1 Show Zara si Baat by Tiny Production and the movie Movie Dimag Ki Dahi.
She then got focussed in her studies and after completing her HSC she headed to Mumbai to focus on her acting career. She got on shows like Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein, Savdhaan India, Shapath and Code Red. She also was seen in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan playing the popular role of Ridhima. Some of her other shows include Har Mushkil Ka Hal Akbar Birbal, Kunwara Hai Par Hamara Hai, Shakti Peeth Ke Bhairav, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan Siya Ke Ram, Tashan-E-Ishq and Kaala Teeka.

She also appeared in a few short films including The Tale of the Boy and Two Nights, apart from web series like 4 Shades of Attraction, Woh Wali Picture, and 100% Pleasure. Her upcoming movie is Anushka which will be her debut on the silver screen. The film is a South Indian film, which has been announced but is yet to hit the floor. Talking about her personal life, she is single and not willing to mingle as she is focussing on her career.
