Riyana Shukla is a TV and film actress who is more active on small screens. She hailed from Cuttack, Orrisa, and was born and brought up at this place. She only did her schooling in her hometown, while she completed her graduation in economics from Ravenshaw University in Cuttack. Since she was always interested in doing films and TV, she tried her luck in the regional world and with a bit of struggle. But before she headed to make her career in acting, she went to Mumbai to join the acting institute called Roshan Taneja School of Acting in Mumbai.

She had to struggle a bit and with a bit of time, she got her first break in Bollywood with the film called Mr. MBA, and later she got another known as Lucknowi Ishq. However, both her films went unnoticed and she then got the chance to work in a Bollywood movie called Life Ki Aisi Ki Taisi, which happens to be a satirical comedy and she got the chance to play the leading role in it. She then got the Oriya film called Tu Achu Ta Mun Achi, which has been completed and reached the post-production phase.

The film is all set to hit the screens in May 2020. As of now, she has also signed a few films in Bollywood along with a few in Bengali Cinema as well as trying her luck in another regional cinema. She also did the Sanjay Nayak film playing the lead role in it. Talking about her next venture in Bengali films, she said she is yet to get the title for the film but it would hit the floor soon. However, she is willing to carve her niche in the Bollywood industry rather than in regional cinema. Talking about her personal life, she is single and not dating anyone as she is focusing on her career.
