Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar Part 1 to Be Bollywood’s Longest Film Since Jodhaa Akbar at 3 Hours 32 Minutes

Breaking news from Bollywood Hungama reveals that the much-anticipated Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, is set to be an epic two-part saga. While earlier reports suggested a runtime of around three hours, new information confirms that Part 1 will run approximately 3 hours and 32 minutes, making it Bollywood’s longest film since Jodhaa Akbar (2008), which clocked in at 3 hours and 34 minutes.
A source shared, “The final runtime is still under wraps as the film is undergoing certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Once cleared, the exact length will be confirmed, but it’s expected to be close to three and a half hours.”Insiders explain that Dhurandhar’s extended runtime reflects the vast and gripping story director Aditya Dhar is telling. Known for his expert storytelling in films like Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), Article 370 (2024), Dhoom Dhaam (2025), and Baramulla (2025), Dhar ensures that every moment is packed with engaging content without feeling stretched.
“The audience will be captivated from start to finish,” the insider added.If confirmed, Dhurandhar will rank as the sixth-longest Bollywood film since 2000. The longest Hindi films over the past 25 years include:
  • LOC Kargil (2003) – 4 hours 7 minutes
  • Lagaan (2001) – 3 hours 44 minutes
  • Salaam-E-Ishq (2007) – 3 hours 36 minutes
  • Mohabbatein (2000) – 3 hours 35 minutes
  • Jodhaa Akbar (2008) – 3 hours 34 minutes
