Pooja Hegde is the latest and gorgeous diva of B Town and especially from the South Indian Movie came into limelight when the news of her being the part of the upcoming movie Mohenjo Daro. The old classic tale movie is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, in which she would be acting in opposite the dashing old hunk Hrithik Roshan. Pooja is known to be in acting in a number of Tamil and other south Indian movies, who is also a model. She had participated in the Miss Universe Pageant contest wherein she was the second runner up. She hails from Mangalore one of the beautiful cities of Karanataka. Though she speaks Kannada, Hindi and English fluently but her mother tongue happens to be Tullu.

Wiki : As far as Pooja Hegde career started working as a model, and remained the second runner up of the Miss Universe India contest in the year 2010 and similar was her story in another contest called the Miss India Talented of the year 2009. After contesting these beauty pageants she headed to the world of acting by doing her debut in a Tamil based movie called Mugamoodi opposite Jiiva. In this movie, she played the character of a fun loving and care free type of a girl, who is seen motivating the male lead to change in his life. After doing her first Tamil based movie, she then headed to do her two Telugu movies called Oka Laila Kosam and Mukunda and soon this year she would be making her debut mark in the movie called Mohenjo Daro.

Currently Pooja is also featuring a South Indian movie called Varun Tej, while was even seen in the popular magazine’s cover page called Filmfare, which made her recognized in the B town and the glam world. Apart from acting in a couple of movies she has even got her chance in doing a couple of TV ads including Lay and Hero Maestro. Both these commercial ads have been carried out in opposite to Ranbir Kapoor. Though she hails from South India, she shifted to Mumbai long back and was seen going in MCET School. While continuing her school, she also learns Bharat Natyam dance, which helped her a lot in her acting career. As far her personal life is concerned, she loves to be simple and maintains a low profile. Pooja Hegde is not spotted with anyone, which means she is not dating with anyone. Apart from acting, she loves to read books, sing and dance along with watching certain sports like tennis.
