Nawazuddin Siddiqui to be seen as a coach of Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan’s film 83

We know Ranveer Singh has garnered good amount of interest after he was roped in the role of the iconic Kapil Dev in the the film directed by Kabir Khan. The film is based on India’s first World Cup victory in cricket, while the movie apparently has been titled as ’83 and has a new addition to the star cast who is none other than the talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. While we see Kabir Khan working with Siddiqui the second time after working in the film Bajrangi Bhaijaan and his role for the film has been appreciated a lot while this time we see the actor playing a different character.
Siddiqui would be playing the character of a coach of the Indian cricket team while the movie would be dealing with Kapil’s  cricketing biopic. If you trust the reports, the makers are seen in talks with Nawaz and the actor is expected to come on board soon. Although the director Kabir Khan is yet to make the official announcement and he then said that the actor has neither denied nor has confirmed the story in recent reports. Talking about the passion in the movie, Kabir Khan was seen hooked up by the story that has changed the history of Cricket in India. It was in 1983 when the cricketer led the team to win the world cup and turned to be a milestone in the world of cricket and in the history of Indian cricket.
Kabir Khan while talking about the film also thanked Ranveer Singh for accepting the role for the film as he kept the actor his first and last choice. On the other hand, the rest of the key roles are yet to be decided for the actors, while the film is all set to hit the floor soon this year and is all set to hit the screens next year in August. The dates are yet to be announced. The Team India won the finals at Lord’s stadium in London the Mecca of Cricket. The other players who were the part of the winning team include Sunil Gavaskar, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Mohinder Amarnath, Sandeep Patil, Syed Kirmani, Roger Binny, Balwinder Shandhu, Kirti Azad, Madan Lal and Yashpal Sharma.
