Netflix Unveils Full Showcase at IFFI 2025: From Left-Handed Girl to Raat Akeli Hai Sequel

Netflix is set to make a significant impact at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), taking place from November 20 to 28, 2025 in Goa. Demonstrating its dedication to storytelling excellence and accessible entertainment, Netflix will co-host the Film Bazaar, featuring the Knowledge Series, Tech Pavilion, and WAVES Film Bazaar — a story pitching platform championing emerging Indian talent.
Key Highlights of Netflix’s IFFI Presence: WAVES Film Bazaar (November 20-24, 2025)
Netflix will co-host this initiative where content executives will listen to pitches from promising filmmakers and screenwriters. This event highlights Netflix’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of storytellers by offering direct access to industry decision-makers and development opportunities. Global & Indian Premieres:
  • Left-Handed Girl — Taiwan’s official Oscar entry, directed by Shih-Ching Tsou and co-written with Sean Baker, will premiere on November 26 at 9:45 AM at INOX Panjim. This emotionally rich film follows five-year-old I-Jing and her family as they navigate life in Taipei’s vibrant night-market scene.
  • Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders — The much-anticipated sequel starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui will close the Indian Title Gala Premiere on November 27 at 5:00 PM at INOX Panjim, deepening the original’s crime-thriller universe with new mysteries and heightened stakes for Inspector Jatil Yadav.
