Netflix has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming series The Ba**ds of Bollywood, marking the directorial debut of Aryan Khan. Following last month’s teaser, the show has sparked significant curiosity among fans. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, this seven-episode series promises bold storytelling, sharp dialogues, and larger-than-life moments, positioning it as one of this year’s most anticipated releases.
At the heart of the story is Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), an ambitious newcomer chasing big dreams in the cinematic world. Alongside him are his loyal friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal), sharp-witted manager Sanya (Anya Singh), and his supportive family—uncle Avtar (Manoj Pahwa), mother Neeta Singh (Mona Singh), and father Rajat Singh (Vijayant Kohli).
Together, they navigate the glitter and challenges of the film industry. Aasmaan soon discovers that the road to success is fraught with obstacles, especially when ambition clashes with ego. His biggest test comes face-to-face with superstar Ajay Talvar (Bobby Deol) and Ajay’s daughter, Bollywood newcomer Karishma (Sahher Bambba). With shrewd producer Freddy Sodawallah (Manish Chaudhari) and former actor Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi) desperate for a comeback, the narrative unfolds as a witty, self-aware journey set against the vibrant backdrop of Hindi cinema.
