Meenakshi Dixit is more known in South Indian films rather than the B Town movies. She was born on 12th October 1988 in Raebareli. She comes from a non-filmy background as her father a known lawyer called Ishwar Chandra. She did her graduation in Science keeping live sciences as its major subjects. During her college days, she also got training into western dance and western dance apart from being active in sports and athletics. Her career all started in 2008 wherein she participated in a dance reality show called NachleVeWithSaroj Khan, which turned out to be the launch pad for her career in film industry.
This film then followed another film, which was a remake of Bodyguard that was made with great expectation but it failed to do better over the box office. She was then seen a Tamil sequel called Billa II wherein she appeared in an item number and was regarded as the top projects. In the year 2014, she had seen in the lead roles in the two lead movies wherein she played the role of a princess period comedy movie called Tenaliraman followed by another thriller drama called Adavi Kachina Vennela. In 2012, she also appeared in a video album called ChuloonAasman.
