Netflix has opened up its plan for the upcoming season of Lucifer and is planning to give Lucifer a special farewell as the streaming giant, Netflix gives this fantasy crime series’ its final fifth season a six episode extension.
As per the Screenrant, this comic book adaptation previously only had 10 episodes but, for the final season, an extension to 16 episodes seems to be a great goodbye.
Lucifer follows the on going instances of crimes and attraction between the handsome and charming Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), and LAPD detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) while they solve some serious crimes, on screen.
The show was later picked by Netflix after Fox cancelled it following a three-season run.
The fourth season of Lucifer was premiered on Netflix in May that was later renewed in June for the fifth and now the final season with 16 episodes.
Lucifer has been a huge hit amongst the digital content audiences.
