Amid the Coronavirus pandemic, the Hollywood superstar wants to help the millions of the people and communication affected during this global health crisis. THe actor acts as a co-founder of the said drive called America’s Food Fund along with another known philanthropist called Laurene Powell Jobs. The duo is getting support from the tech and motor giant Apple and Ford with their groups like Apple and the Ford Foundation who have come together to financially support this drive.
While facing this crisis, several groups including World Central Kitchen and Feeding America have come forward to help the people who have been affected a lot with their unwavering commitment for feeding the most vulnerable section of the society. While talking about his drive, Leonardo DiCaprio thanked his team for their tireless work on the frontlines. So far the actor has raised 10 million USD for the drive. This includes feeding the people from the low-income families, the senior citizens, and all the people who are facing job issues and the kids on school lunch programs..
