Wiki : Kitu Gidwani is a popular name actress from film and TV. She is born and brought in Mumbai and comes from a Sindhi family who has their origin from Sindh, Pakistan. She did her schooling from Fort Convent School, Mumbai, while did her post graduation in French and soon got involved in French Plays. Soon, she was seen working in English plays, which was directed by Janak Toprani. This simply opened up the gates of opportunity in the acting world. He doesn’t believe in the institution of marriage and never plans to settle down in her life. She has her own way so finding solace, which solely seen in Mother Nature.

As far as Kitu Gidwani acting career is concerned, it all started with the smaller screen in the year 1984. She was first seen in a TV serial called Trishna followed by some of the best performances in TV serials like Air Hostess, Swabhimaan and Junoon. She came into limelight with a kissing scene with Raj Zutshi in the TV serial called Junoon in 1997. She was seen doing a number of other serials after this, which includes Kesar (2004), Kasshish (2005), Saahil (1995-96), etc. Some of her movies include Dil Diya Hai (2006), Strangers (2007), Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na (2008), Monica (2011), Dhobi Ghat (2011), Student of the Year (2012), Ek Bura Aadmi (2013), Traffic (2013), I, etc.

As far as awards are concerned, Kitu Gidwani has won a couple of awards including Best Actress Award at the popular Three Continents Festival Nantes in France for her film – Dance of Winds by Pallavi Sehgal in 1997. Apart from the regular Bollywood movies and TV serials, she was also seen in working in a couple of short films including Wisdom Tree (1985) and The Khajuraho (1991). She also did a couple of south Indian movies, which include the Tamil- Aalavandhan (2001) and I. She also did one French movie called Happily Ever After in 2001. Apart from her acting, she is also involved in a couple of promotional stuff like promoting Will Sport Lifestyle brand of clothing, which is happens to be the ITC Limited creation.
