The makers of Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 have officially revealed the film’s theatrical release date. The much-awaited sequel to the cult comedy Khosla Ka Ghosla is set to arrive in cinemas on August 28, 2026. The announcement came alongside the unveiling of the film’s poster, marking the return of this beloved franchise nearly two decades after the original captured audiences’ hearts.
Now, talking about it, the film is directed by Prashant Bhagia and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under T-Series in collaboration with Tandav Films, the project also involves producers Savita Raj Hiremath and Raj Hiremath.
While the plot remains under wraps, fans can look forward to the original cast reprising their iconic roles, alongside actor Ravi Kishan who joins the film in a significant part. The sequel was first announced earlier this year in January. Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who celebrates a major milestone with this film as his 550th project, began shooting on January 3, 2026. He recalled a Cannes Film Festival encounter where an international filmmaker dubbed him the “Marathon Man of Indian Cinema” for his prolific body of work. Starting the shoot of Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 in Delhi,
Kher expressed, “So today as I start my 550th film #KhoslaKaGhosla2 my heart is filled with GRATITUDE and THANKFULNESS!” The original Khosla Ka Ghosla was widely praised for its sharp satire on middle-class dreams, family ties, and the chaotic world of property disputes in urban India.
