After they were spotted at a café in Juhu, popular musician Jubin Nautiyal fuelled relationship rumors with Kabir Singh actress Nikita Dutta. Their presence sparked suspicion that they were both dating and planning to marry soon. According to rumors in the media, Jubin and Nikita’s families met in the singer’s hometown of Uttarakhand, and Nautiyal even paid her a visit in Mumbai to talk about their wedding plans. Despite the rumors about their connection, Jubin has now spoken up and stated that they ‘were just hanging out at the café.’
While speaking to BT, Jubin Nautiyal declined to comment on whether the two were dating or not. He was quoted saying, “We would not like to comment on this. I have known Nikita since she did a TV show Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. I sang a song in that show and then we got to know each other well. Nikita and I were just hanging out at a cafe in Juhu for some time. I would not like to comment on whether we are dating or not, because one thing leads to another and we don’t want to become the subject of gossip.”
For the uninitiated, Jubin Nautiyal met Nikita on the set of her film Kabir Singh, in which she played an actress who falls in love with Kabir (Shahid Kapoor) after she is involved in an accident and he treats her. In the film, Jubin performed the hit song ‘Tujhe Kitna Chahein.’
