IIFA 2023 Award winners: Gangubai Kathiawadi, Drishyam 2, and Hrithik Roshan won big at IIFA 2023

The 23rd edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) ended with Alia Bhatt- starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Brahmastra Part One: Shiva bagging four and five awards respectively.

Held over the weekend, the awards ceremony was hosted by Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Salman Khan, Nora Fatehi, Rakul Preet Singh, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan took to the stage to perform while most award recipients received their trophies in person.

Alia Bhatt bagged the award for Best Actress for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubali Kathiawadi, and Hrthik Roshan took home the award for Best Actor for his performance in Vikram Vedha.

Best Story Adapted – Aamil Keeyan Khan and Abhishek Pathak (Drishyam 2)

Best Screenplay: Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Utkarshini Vashishtha (Gangubai Kathiawadi)

Best Dialogue: Prakash Kapadia (Gangubai Kathiawadi)
