I Want To Talk Review

The Hindustan Times review remarked that “Abhishek fully utilizes his real-life demeanor as a chill guy with some of the best one-liners in the room for his character.” One memorable line includes him telling his daughter’s boyfriend, “Speaking in between when two Sens are talking is ‘inSensitive.’” The review also draws parallels to Abhishek’s father, Amitabh Bachchan, noting his portrayal of an aging father in Piku, who is overly involved in his daughter’s life. However, it points out some pacing issues in I Want To Talk, mentioning that while the first half is engaging and presents a clear conflict, the second half feels unnecessarily stretched, potentially exhausting viewers. Despite this, the film concludes on a positive and hopeful note.
