Bhushan Kumar, the owner of T-Series, is married to Divya Khossla. Though there have been online rumors about their marriage going through a difficult time in recent years, the couple has never responded to the rumors. However, the divorce rumors were reignited after Divya removed her husband’s last name from her name on Instagram. Bhushan Kumar then clarified that this was done for astrological reasons. Divya recently revealed that she was prohibited from acting after marriage.
Divya Khossla recently made an appearance on the podcast of Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiya. The hosts questioned her about how she began directing movies and music videos during their conversation. Divya said that she has always been incredibly creative. Her wedding, however, was scheduled prior to the release of her movie, Ab Tumhare Hawale. She married T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar. The family therefore forbade her from acting. According to a quote from Divya:
“Mai starting se bahut creative rahi hoon. I got married early Ab Tumahre Hawale release se pehle meri shaadi fix hogayi, and I got married and uske baad my family was obiviously not ready for me to act.”
Divya also disclosed that she began studying filmmaking and cinematography. When she married, she was still in school, so she pursued a career in editing and cinematography. She also created her first music video, which was a huge hit for Sonu Nigam’s father, Agam Nigam. She stated:
“You know, I then began studying filmmaking and cinematography. Tabi padh rahi thi mai, choti thi mai. Toh mai ne seekhi editing seekhi cinematography seekhi. For Sonu Nigam’s father, I directed my first video, which turned out to be a huge hit.
For those who are unaware, Bhushan Kumar, who elevated the T-Series, is the spouse of Divya Khosla Kumar. On February 13, 2005, in the Vaishno Devi Temple in Jammu, Divya married Bhushan at the age of just 21. Ruhaan, Divya and Bhushan’s first child, was born in 2011.
