Did you see, Alia Bhatt’s embroidered bridal veil has a message!

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had a fairytale wedding yesterday at their home in Mumbai. While the internet is buzzing over every single detail about their ceremony here is another exciting fact about their wedding. Alia Bhatt wore a veil with her wedding date engraved on it. Diet Sabya, a famous Instagram account, uploaded a close-up photo of the chunar, or veil. The fashion account is known for calling out copy designs and fashion polishing.

In an Instagram Story, Diet Sabya wrote, “Here is a picture that no one has, Sorry for the DS text all over.” It was accompanied by a close-up image of the chunar, with someone putting it up to their palm to display the date inscribed on it. “The fourteenth of April 2022” was inscribed on the white veil.

The account also shared numerous additional photos from the closely secured and secret event, which took place at Ranbir’s Bandra home Vastu. A video of Ranbir holding Alia in his arms has also been termed “the real Bridgerton ending.”

Ranbir and Alia chose white-themed wedding dresses. Fans were drawn to her massive ring and matching kaleere. Rather than the usual red kaleere, Alia donned a white kaleere with Ranbir’s lucky number, 8, emblazoned on it.

Meanwhile, in an emotional message, filmmaker Karan Johar referred to Ranbir as his “son-in-law” and expressed his best wishes to the newlywed pair. Karan has guided Alia’s career.

Ranbir’s mom Neetu Singh also welcomed Alia to the family by sharing pictures from the wedding with the caption, “My world.”

Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to officially announce her wedding to Ranbir. Alia wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia.”
