As Sanajana Sanghi is all set to make her debut in B Town as a leading lady with the film Dil Bechara, we now see her as not a stranger in Hindi Cinema. The fact is she has been appearing in Bollywood films in smaller roles. One can find her in Imtiaz Ali’s film Rockstar in 2011. She played the role of Mandy, Nargis Fakhri’s younger sister. While talking about her debut in B Town as a leading star, she said, Mukesh Chhabra wanted a new face for his film Dil Bechara.
She further said that the director had seen her in school when she was 13 and was performing on stage in her Delhi based school performance. He then asked for an audition then and there. He then made her appear in Rockstar in the film. Later, she was seen in 2017 in the film Hindi Medium with late actor Irrfan Khan. She played the younger role of Saba Qamar. Later, the actress was seen in Fukrey Returns as well with a small role in it playing Katty. Remember the lady who comes in the first scene with Varun Sharma. The film had Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha, and Ali Fazal in the leading roles. Besides, she also appeared in a couple of commercials for a few brands like Close-Up, Samsung and Tanishq to name a few.
