Dhurandhar: The Revenge to Be Longer Than the First Film; Runtime Expected Between 3 Hours 40 Minutes and 3 Hours 55 Minutes

March 2026 marks the arrival of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and excitement for the sequel is steadily mounting. Bollywood Hungama first reported in November 2025 that the original Dhurandhar had a runtime of over 3 hours and 30 minutes. Now, we bring you the latest update on the sequel’s length. Sources from overseas reveal that Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to be even lengthier, with an expected runtime of around 235 minutes (3 hours 55 minutes).

However, some regions report a slightly shorter duration of 3 hours 40 minutes. Regardless, it surpasses the first film’s 214-minute runtime (3 hours, 34 minutes, and 1 second). A source shared, “Fans loved the first part and can’t get enough. The sequel is designed to keep them engaged for even longer.”If the sequel clocks in at nearly 4 hours, it will rank among the longest Hindi films in recent history second only to LOC Kargil (2003), which ran for 4 hours and 7 minutes. Other lengthy classics include Lagaan (2001) with 3 hours and 44 minutes. The exact runtime should be confirmed within a week.

Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. The first film followed an Indian spy infiltrating Pakistan’s criminal and political networks, stirring chaos. It opened strongly and quickly became a sensation, with second-week collections surpassing the first. The film went on to become Bollywood’s highest-grossing release, creating massive anticipation for the sequel.

Talking about the film, it is directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios alongside Aditya and Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios, Dhurandhar: The Revenge hits theaters on March 19, 2026.
