Building on a strong debut, the film benefited from positive early word of mouth and the weekend boost, comfortably surpassing the ₹30 crore mark at the Indian box office, according to early estimates.

Day 2 Performance Breakdown

Saturday morning shows started stronger than Friday’s 15% occupancy, registering 17%. Afternoon shows jumped to 35%, up from Friday’s 28%, while evening occupancy rose further to 43%, compared to 36% the previous day. Night shows went smooth as expected to approach 50% occupancy, adding to the momentum.

Though these percentages may seem moderate, Dhurandhar is playing across 14,000+ shows nationwide, which amplifies its box office impact. Early estimates place the day 2 collection between ₹32-34 crores, marking an 11.88% to 18.88% growth over day 1’s ₹28.6 crores, which finally went on to gain around 32.5 Cr.

Ranveer Singh’s Career-Best Single-Day Collection in Sight

So, it was the night shows that did perform as anticipated, Dhurandhar as expected to poise to deliver Ranveer Singh’s biggest single-day collection yet did prove the same. His previous record was set by Padmaavat, which grossed ₹32 crores on its Republic Day second day. This film looks set to surpass that milestone.

Overall Box Office Tally So Far

The spy action thriller has amassed an impressive ₹60.6-62.6 crore net in its first two days. With Sunday’s (day 3) strong numbers expected, the film is on track to cross the ₹100 crore mark over its opening weekend.
