The arrest of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in a narcotics bust case seemed to unleash a can of worms. Following his detention, the Narcotics Control Bureau called Ananya Panday, his buddy and Chunky Panday’s daughter, for questioning. The actress was also questioned twice by the NCB.
However, it appears that the Panday family’s troubles are far from done. The central drug investigation agency, which is hell-bent on busting Bollywood’s alleged drug ring, has now summoned Chunky Panday’s brother Chikki Panday.
According to a story in India Today, KP Gosavi notified Sam D’Souza about Aryan Khan’s detention and that they intended to contact Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani. They made touch with Dadlani through a Mumbai restaurateur who knew Chunky Panday’s brother Chikki Panday.
According to the article, Chikki allegedly handed them Pooja’s and her husband’s contact information. Due to this relationship, Mumbai police want to probe him, and the Bollywood actor’s brother will be summoned soon. However, it’s unclear when he’ll be summoned. He’s been requested for more information on his conversation with Sam D’Souza and KP Gosavi.
The NCB had already summoned Ananya Panday for questioning on the basis of a two-year-old WhatsApp conversation discovered on Aryan Khan’s phone. The actress’ residence in Bandra, Mumbai, was also raided by the agency, which took her laptop and cellphones.
Following a raid on the Cornelia Cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 3, the NCB apprehended Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, and a few others. They were released on bail last month after spending 22 days in Arthur Road Jail.
