Aparna Bajpai is an established name in the south Indian movie world especially in Tamil Movies apart from a novice in Bollywood industry. She hails from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh wherein she did her schooling and college. She comes from a non filmi background from UP having two siblings. She did her schooling from Saint Xaviers Secondary School Chandigarh and for her college went to Delhi. However, she left in the midst to pursue her acting assignments in Chennai with the help of her friend Disha Pandey who is also a known actress in the south.

While being in college, Aparna Bajpai  got the chance the work as model and soon she appeared in a number of commercials including the one (the soft drink ad) with Aamir Khan. Soon she got the chance to work with the popular south Indian director called Sasikumar for his movie Easan after being spotted at one of the TV ads. She did this movie in opposite to Vaibhav Reddy playing the character of a rich college girl called Reshma. The movie was a big hit in 2010 and helped her garner good reviews for her acting performance.

The same year in 2010, she got another movie called Karuppampatti which she did in opposite to Ajmal, while she was also the part of the production venture called Thiru Nagar. Later in 2013, she appeared in another Telugu movie known as O Manasa. The very same year, she got her first Bollywood film called Horror Story wherein she played the character of Maggie in it. Her upcoming movies this year is Mumbai 125 KM 3D and Mumbai 125 KM 3D, which is all set to release the theaters. The latter is releasing this Friday (12^th September 2014), while she is currently working on a Malayalam movie called Bangles.
