Anushka Ranjan is a known name in the Television industry. She is an actor and model based in Mumbai wherein she was born in a prestigious and known family of small screen. Her parents Anu and Shashi Ranjan are a known people in the industry. Her father was the man to set up the Indian Television Academy. After her schooling and college, she joined the prestigious Subash Ghai’s Acting Academy wherein she did her program in acting followed by the other called Roshan Taneja Acting School. In addition, she has a formal training in Indian classical dance particularly in Kathak.

Anushka Ranjan has started her career in modeling and is known to walk over a number of ramps including the one at Dubai Fashion Week. After carving her niche is modeling, she also got offers from the south Indian films wherein she did a couple of movies in Tamil and other films apart from working in a number of commercial ads as well. Rahul Rawal is the man who launched her over the silver screen and he is the same person who has made the careers of actors like Sunny Deol, Kumar Gaurav and Kajol. She met him when she was the student of acting in the above said schools.

As far as Anushka Ranjan career in Bollywood is concerned, it is still new and small. She did her debut with the film called Wedding Pulav whom she is doing with the stars like Diganath Manchale, Karan V Grover, Rishi Kapoor, Sonali Sehgal, Parmeet Sethi and Satish Kaushik. This film is all about an interesting fable about love and friendship and is directed by noted cinematographer-turned-director called Binod Pradhan. She aspires to work with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan one day. Currently, she is busy with her promotion and marketing of her upcoming film called Wedding Pulav, which is all set to release soon.
