The father-son drama Om Ka Hari, directed by Harish Vyas, has successfully entered its second week in theaters. The emotional film continues to hold screens across 25 cinemas in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities. Starring and produced by Anshuman Jha, the story focuses on family dynamics and highlights the importance of expressing love to parents.
To connect directly with moviegoers, Anshuman Jha is embarking on a special 15-city tour starting Monday. His travel itinerary includes major cities such as Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Agra, Jaipur, Bengaluru, and Patna. During this tour, Jha will host special screenings for cinema lovers and their fathers, allowing them to watch the film together.
Anshuman Jha shared that his initiative is inspired by legendary filmmaker Charlie Chaplin, who used to personally take his movies from city to city. Jha explained that he wants to sit with audiences, hear their thoughts, and have genuine conversations rather than following standard promotional tactics. He stated, “I make movies to connect, and my attempt has never been transactional; it has always been emotional. So I am willing to keep working harder and going further to reach my audience.”
He added that the warm response from viewers has motivated him to go the extra distance. Through this tour, he hopes to spread the core message of the film: express your love to your parents while you still have the chance.
In addition to its ongoing theatrical run, Om Ka Hari will also have over 50 special screenings at Army Centres across India. This initiative aims to take the heartwarming story to service personnel and expand its reach beyond traditional movie halls. As the film progresses through its second week, the makers remain focused on building a strong, personal connection with audiences across the country.
