Amazon Prime Web Series Inside Edge Next Season to streamline on December 6

Farhan Akhtar seems to be pretty excited after unveiling the motion poster of Cricket Drama- Inside Edge Season 2. Amazon Prime Video Fame Inside Edge is coming up with its next season from December 6. Farhan Akhtar is the executive producer of the season and has recently shared its release date along with the poster, very recently. The series revolves around the fictional world of the Twenty20 cricket tournament Indian Premier League which includes a talented star cast of Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadha, Sanjay Suri, Angad Bedi, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Tanuj Virwani. The writer and director of the series is Karan Anshuman, who has also directed Bangistan.

It is reported that Inside Edge is coming with this new season after 29 months of the first version release. The last show was released in July 2017 which was the first original web series from the respective streaming channel in India.

In the series, Vivek Oberoi is playing the role of a sports management company owner named Vikrant. Richa Chadha plays as Zarina Malik who is the co-owner of the team Mumbai Mavericks (the fictitious team around which the series is all about). Apart from these, the role of the star player of Mumbai Mavericks is being played by Tanuj Virwani. Angad Bedi is playing the role of Arvind Vashishth who will be the captain of the team. However, he is going to have a different character this season. The character of the coach of the team will be played by Sanjay Suri as Niranjan Suri.

The first season of Inside Edge had a great audience response and it was also nominated for the International Emmy Awards under the Best Drama category.
