Ali Fazal is an Indian actor who is seen in Bollywood films and also has done a few Hollywood movies. He was born on 15th October 1986 in Lucknow, UP. He was brought in Allahabad in a middle-class family. He did his schooling from La Martiniere College in Lucknow and then followed by the famous The Doon School based in Dehra Dun. He remained active in cultural activities (debates and school plays) and even in sports. He represents India and his school in basketball championship. He got into engineering but later gave up to head to Mumbai to complete his graduation in Economics from the known St. Xavier’s College.

While he was in his studies, he decided to enter into acting and got his first role in 2008 in a romantic comedy film by James Dodson called The Other End of the Line. He then was seen in a US-based miniseries Bollywood Hero the next year. He then was the part of an erotic thriller called Ek Tho Chance the same year with Saurabh Shukla and Amrita Arora. The very same year he was picked by Hirani in his film 3 Idiots with Aamir Khan in a short role of Joy Lobo. He then was picked by SRK owned company – Always Kabhi Kabhi playing a negative role that gave him critical reviews. Since then it was no looking back for the actor. He then got Farhan Akhtar produced film Fukrey in 2013. Some of his movies include Baat Ban Gayi, Sonali Cable, Bobby Jasoos and even appeared in Hollywood film Furious 7.
Some of his recent movies include Happy Bhag Jayegi, the sequel of this film (Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi), Fukrey Returns, Tadka, Victoria & Abdul, Love Affair and Cheers to name a few. He also did a TV show called Bollywood Heros. He has also remained the part of a couple of web series, which include Bang Baaja Baaraat, nooky Chat with Pappu & Papa, and currently Mirzapur playing Guddu Pandit at Amazon Prime Video. In his personal life, he is single and a sporty person. He also supports charitable organisations and similar things. He is also into modelling and has walked a couple of ramps sometimes even to raise money for charity.
