Swara Bhaskar Defends Karan Johar & Alia on Sushant’s Suicide Case
The sudden death of Sushant Singh Rajput once again opened up the nepotism debate in social media. We saw a few netizens talking about various posts slamming Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar for their alleged role of being hypocrites. The two were blamed for Sushant’s suicide saying that he was not given fair credit for his talent. Even Kangana Ranaut and actor Prakaj Raj felt the same when they said Sushant was not given enough credit for the work in B Town.Â
As the nepotism debate escalated, Sawara Bhasker had to intervene and she somewhere batted for Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt calling the netizens and detractors of the two saying that they it would be idiotic and even hypocritical to put the onus on Alia or Karan for the actor’s suicide case. One can check her tweets as under:Â
Parts of India Twitter blaming #KaranJohar and #AliaBhatt for the tragic suicide of Sushant – for some silly game played on a frivolous and pointless chat show (that All those people who are now abusing Bollywood nepotism lapped up) is both the height of idiocy and hypocrisy! 1/n

Sushant didn’t leave a note. We don’t know what he went thru. We don’t know the cause. STOP taking out ur frustration using the pain of a troubled person. He didn’t leave a note! Get it? He didn’t want to talk about it. He’s gone. Let him have his peace & his family privacy. 2/n

The actor was seen suffering from depression and committed suicide at his Bandra based residence this Sunday. His family members reached Mumbai on Sunday to perform his last rites. Only 20 people were allowed to attend the funeral, which included both the actors and his family members. Stay tuned to know more about the issue and others only with us.Â
