Ulka Gupta is a TV and film actress and she hails from Mumbai where she was born and brought up at. She was born on 12th April 1997 in Mumbai. Both her sister and father are actors. She did her schooling from  Rustomjee International School, Dahisar, Mumbai, while her college was done from Mithibai College Mumbai. She started working early. She started working when she was 12 years of age. She worked in a TV show called Jhansi Ki Rani. For this role, she prepared hard as she had to undergo horse riding training along with learning Sanskrit language to speak some of the verses.

Later Ulka was seen in the same show in the role of Kaali. She did her debut in silver screen with the film called Andhra Pori with the South Indian film wherein she played the lead role called Prashanti. She has worked in 2015 Telugu movie called Rudhramadevi. She did a number of TV shows and her role of Ami in the TV show called Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi on the popular Zee TV has made her popular for her incredible performance.
