It is a busy Friday today as we can find a couple of movies hitting the theatre. These include Tere Bin Laden, Aligarh, and Bollywood Diaries. The films come from diverse themes giving audience various options to catch in the theatres. Now, let’s start with the film Tere Bin Laden Dead Or Alive. This sequel despite having average reviews by the critics managed to get a decent occupancy, which translated into a good collection. As per reports, the first day box office report for Tere Bin Laden tolled to around 6 crores, which is actually a good figure at the end of the first day.
Now, let’s talk about the film Aligarh that has a good star cast Manjo Bajpayee and Rakummar Rao. The film though had good reviews in the media, but as we find the film to be a gay issue centric movie, it failed to collect good collection at the end of the day. The film is based on a controversial issue, which has not much to attract the audience. So, as per the reports, the first day box office collection for Aligarh tolled to around 2 crore.
Now comes the last film Bollywood Diaries, which is again a decent film in terms of reviews and performance but fails to collect a good moolah at the end of the first day. The film had a small amount of buzz in the media due to low star cast and of course dull promotion in media. With limited number of screens as compared to other movies, the film failed to get much of collection. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Bollywood Diaries tolled to around 1 crore.
