The B Town had two films to release this passing Friday, which include the one called Stree. The movie had a decent buzz considering the ensemble star cast of the film along with others factors like content and other things. This has helped the film to score decent over the box office and has helped it to get a decent amount of collection at the box office. The films started with the first day box office collection reaching to 6.82 crore on day one despite getting the tough competition received by Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se. the second day as a cool escalation that made the collection to reach on Saturday as 8.50 crore, while Sunday was big and bigger than the rest to collect around 10.5 crore.
So, the first weekend box office collection went on to score around 25.82 crore. The film managed to score a decent amount getting the best of the collection barring the other film to score in comparison to the other. The film was directed by a debutant director called Amar Kaushik, which happens to be a horror comedy, while it was inspired by Nala Ba as a female spirit, while the film to move around the life of Chanderi during the days of the Puja while no man is safe claimed the story of the film. Hence the house of the lady had the words like O stree, kal aana written on the outside of the house, while the legend is till to arrive.
The film has Rajkummar Rao, who has given some of the best performance over the silver screen for this film like any other previous films of this actor, while Shraddha Kapoor too has got a new image makeover kind of film rather than turning victim of the previous movie called Haseena Parkar. The film has scored well over the box office also due to the good and positive ratings and reviews of the film, which has managed to give a right shape to the film in a big way. Let’s see how things would move, but at the moment Stree with high word of mouth buzz is the winner at the box office.
