Should SRK try out only the films like Chak De India and Swades?
Shah Rukh Khan has come a long way out while journeying in this industry from last 25 years. From a man with no money in his pocket to the king of romance and who rule not just the city of Bombay but millions of hearts in India and abroad. The man is often termed as King of Romance, who has given some of the best love stories, starting his journey from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to giving a number of really good romantic movies like Kuch Kuch sizzlinga Hai, Dil to Pagal Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho and many more such movies in his kitty. However, amidst such films, he has done movies like Chak De and Swadesh, which deals with the love of country and standing by its pride. Though these movies didn’t do well over the box office getting 100 plus crore for him and the makers yet the kind of performance he has given in these movies was simply incredible.
He was applauded for the roles he picked up in these movies, which not only suited him but educated many souls the forgotten lessons of patriotism. Though in person he may be seen with a feeling of India becoming a land of intolerance as practiced by the saffron elements but his love for the country and films like these have never turned questionable by a majority of his fans and others in this country and abroad. Well, films like these may not fetch him tons of money though, but with films like these he can contribute a lot in giving the right message in the media and to the masses at large. Now, when he is at the age of 51, he cannot be the King of Romance in a longer run. He has to work on his image and the selection of the film. So, sooner or later one can find movies like these (Swadesh & Chak De) becoming a reality for him. So, with all said and done, trying his luck back in such genre movies is certainly not a bad idea all together.
