Soorma Box Office Prediction

Soorma

We have a couple of movies coming this month and one such film includes Soorma, which is directed by Shaad Ali Sahgal featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi in the lead roles. This film is produced under the banner of Sony pictures, while Chitrangada Singh and Deepak Singh have produced the same. The film Soorma deals with a story about the East Indian hockey player which gives the comeback of Sandeep Singh after his 2006 film called gunshot. Now, talking about the film and its buzz in the media, it seems to be okay. The trailer has increased the buzz of the film in some way or the other and thus given hopes to the makers to get a good collection over the box office.

The film is based on real time hockey player who witnesses topsy-turvy in the life of the lead cricket sticker in the film. Well, the film is based on the Hockey World Cup of 2008. Talking about the buzz of the film, it has created the sports loving people but how much buzz it would create the buzz in the media would depend upon the kind of word of mouth buzz in the media. Looking at the current buzz about the film, the first day collection for Soorma will reach around 3-4 crore while on the first weekend the collection could reach to 12 to 15 crore.

Much would depend upon the kind of word of mouth buzz found in the media. As per the current scenario, the film is not likely to get the buzz since there is no much of the promotion seen in the media and secondly the film has also a low star value as well hence considering all these factors, it is less likely to expect a huge collection at the box office. Also, the film Sanju is going great guns and it would remain in most of the screens that would further hamper the screen count for Soorma. Thus do not expect much of the collection at the box office. So, what do you think, how much collection will it make?
