PM Modi Biopic

As 2019 appears, we have the biggest show of the democracy – the Lok Sabha Elections, which will decide the future PM. The year, therefore, had a couple of movies that are lined up on political backgrounds. One of the films includes the biopic made on the life of the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi. The others to join in this bandwagon in the biopic made on the life of Dr. Manmohan Singh the former PM of India, which is titled as The Accidental Prime Minister. However, the former got embroiled in the social media more than the latter for the obvious reason the moment the makers of Modi biopic released the first look poster.

Vivek Oberoi is playing the character of Mr. Modi in the biopic and the makers have released the first look poster, which is produced by Vivek’s father. Interestingly, the poster was released in the media by the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis. However, the moment the poster was shared in the media, the people on the social media particularly over the Twitter made loads of hue and cry and the Twiterwadi just burnt the guy playing the lead role in it. People made of Vivek Oberoi on the Internet. Someone called him the Johnny Depp from Thugs of Hindostan, the other said that the only similarity they find in PM Modi and the poster is the straight look towards the camera.

Someone said that he is convinced not to watch the movie with Vivek in it who does not resemble the PM even a slightest. Someone made fun of his nose while comparing it to Mr. Modi. Someone said that both Vivek and Mr. Modi had great grand masti in the last four years during the NDA rule. And one interesting comment came in the form of a photograph of Salman Khan with Modi seen flying kites asking the makers to include this scene in the biopic. Meanwhile, one man asked to press the Kurta at least as Mr. Modi is known for his fashion sense and style statement. The film is directed by the Mary Kom fame director Omung Kumar, while Ssandip Singh along with Oberoi is producing the film.
