Sana Makbul formerly known as Sana Khan is an Indian model and actress who hails from Mumbai. She was born on 13th June 1993 and brought in Mumbai in a Malayali family. She did her schooling and college from Mumbai and completed her graduation from National College. While she was in college, she started working as a model and remained part of many marketing campaigns and walked over a number of ramps. She even participated in Femina Miss India and bagged the title – Miss Beautiful Smile. Soon she started appearing on the TV ads and reality shows. Her first reality show was MTV Scooty Teen Diva in the year 2009.
She also appeared in a musical series for the teens called Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De. She was soon seen in the TV serial called Kitani Mohabbat Hai appearing in the second season. This soon followed another role in a TV show called Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon playing the role of Lavanya Kashyap. Soon she bagged the role of Riya Mukherjee for the 4 Lions Films criminal investigation series known as Arjun. In the year 2014, she got the chance to do her debut in films starting with Telugu movie known as Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya and soon adopted her new name from Sana Khan to Sana Makbul.
In the said movie, she was seen playing the role of anaerobic trainer called Samhitha, wherein she dealt with the story of a father falling in love with his son. She then signed and started filming for Tamil movie called Rangoon, which happens to be a crime thriller, and it was directed by the known filmmaker from the south called Rajkumar Periasamy. In the year 2017, she got fir first Telugu movie known as Mama o Chandamama. Talking about her life on small screen, she got her first show as Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De playing the character of Sara in the year 2010. She then bagged another TV show -Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? as Lavanya Kashyap in the year 2011-2012. She then got Arjun and Aadat Se Majoboor working as Riya. Regarding her personal life, she is unmarried and not dating anyone.
