Ridhima Sud is a new face added in Bollywood, who made her debut with Zoya Akhtar’s film – Dil Dhadakne Do. She hails from New Delhi. Her father is a businessman, while her mom is an academician. After doing her college from NYU in New York, she got a job on Wall Street and after working for only a few months, she resigned and headed to Mumbai to make her dreams come true in B Town. However, her family wasn’t very open to the idea of acting, but she put all efforts to prove her worth and got a dream break in Bollywood.
With film Dil Dhadakne Do where she played the character of Noorie she has entered Bollywood. As far as the role in DDD, she simply auditioned for it and was able to get herself the part in this multi-starrer on her own. The film also stars Farhan Akhtar in a special appearance.
Apart from the said films, she has been modeling since the age of 19 and has been the face of the brands such as Ponds and Kaya Skin. With her great work and pretty face she has made her presence felt all over the ad world. She has also done ad campaigns like Coca Cola, Vodafone, EBay and Titan to name a few. Besides Bollywood, she has also assisted in a Hollywood film called Eat, Pray, Love working directly under Emmy nominated director Alfonso Gomez- Rejon. She speaks four languages including French and Italian.
