Rasika Dugal is a known Indian actress who has done a number of Bollywood films and a few Indian soap operas as well. She was born on 17th January 1985 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. She did her schooling Sacred Heart Convent Jamshedpur, later she completed her BSc. from Lady Shri Ram College for Women from Delhi. This followed her PG Diploma program in Social Communications Media from Sophia Polytechnic. She then headed to Pune to join FTII completing her PG Diploma in acting. Once she completed her college and FTII diploma in acting and filmmaking she headed to Mumbai to pursue her dream career in acting.
In 2007 when she reached Mumbai, it was a struggling thing for her, and she appeared in a Bollywood movie called Anwar playing the character role in it. Since then it was no looking back for her as she did a number movies like No Smoking, Hijack, Tahaan, Agyaat, and Thanks Maa in her initial days. Some of her recent films include Qissa, Kammatti Paadam, Manto, Tu Hain Mera Sunday, and Once Again to name a few. She also did TV shows, which started with Upanishad Ganga, Powder, Kismat, Dariba Diaries, Devlok with Devdutt Pattanaik, which was a talk show hosted by herself, while the other TV show included P.O.W.- Bandi Yuddh Ke playing Mrs. Shobha Vikram Singh.
She is currently doing Mirzapur which is a web series aired at Amazon Prime Videos. She is playing the role of Beena Tripathi. She also did a couple of other Web series, which include Permanent Roommates, giving a Cameo role, in the second season, Humorously Yours in the same year in 2016 playing Mrs. Kavya Goyal and Saheb, Biwi & Billi wherein she played the role of Mrs. Kavya Goyal.
