Raid Movie Trailer Review

Raid Movie Trailer Review

After a much wait, the film starring Ajay Devgn seemed to have embarked with his next film Raid’s trailer. The makers have released the first trailer for the film, which is being set at the backdrop of 1981 and it portrays the story of an I-T (Income Tax) office based in Lucknow that acts strong against the powerful corrupt politicians just to help the people living in poverty. We have Ajay Devgn playing an honest IT officer whose idealism has given him 49 transfers within his career of 7 years.

His idealism move on to say that he will not quit the idea of fighting corruption even if he is transferred for the fiftieth time. His character simply reminds us of the Rajkummar Rao’s election officer found in the film called Newton, but with Raid comes with more masala dialogues. On the other side, we have a government official who tells the honest IT officer that no one can come inside his house even if he has to kill a fly, hence the chances of him being raided turns out to be an impossible choice.

However, the character played by Ajay seems to unite with his team, which somewhere seen like the character of Akshay Kumar in his film Baby, and then gets cracking on the case. At every turn, he is seen entangled with the red tap by one or the other corrupt officers and is often threatened. But he is seen carrying on and then we hear a stray line of dialogue regarding the female empowerment like any other film of Akshay Kumar in it. Then he says that that India can be powerful when the wives of this country becomes strong to support the honest officers. Overall the trailer of the film seems okay. So, what do you have to say about it, do let us know by commenting about the same.
