The Period Drama film Padmavat to Enter 300 Crore Club soon
Year 2018 started with a big bang. Thanks to the big budget film Padmavat by Sanjay Leela Bhansali moving like a breeze over the box office. It seems that the dark year of 2017 at the box office seems to have come to an end. Unlike his previous film the man is back with extra huge sets, massive budget, and incredible VFX effects and huge preparation. The film has given a good start to the actors as well particularly Shahid Kapoor who has been struggling to have a bad phase in his career at the moment with no hits like Rangoon and Shandaar.
Now talking about the film and its worldwide collection, the film Padmavat till date has collected around 275.28 crores all across the world adding up the fuel over the Indian box office. The Indian box office collection for the film is reported around 155.50 crores and to be precise the collection has reached to around 199.04 crores gross while the overseas collection has been reported to around 76.24 crores. So, it’s not even a week to see the release of the movie and it is all set to enter the 300-crore club all across the world. The way the film has made it at the box office, it will not be a big surprise to see the movie breaking all the previous records one after the other.
The film Padmavat by Sanjay Leela Bhansali happens to be a film that has come after a gap of three years. The last film by this man was Bajirao Mastani, which also had Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles unlike the current film as well. The trio have been working since Ramleela, Bajirao Mastani and now Padmavat and they share a good chemistry between the three.
