Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran 1st week box office collection

Parmanu The Story of Pokhran

It’s been a week to see the film Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran releasing in the screens. The film so far has bagged good amount of praise and applauds for the rich content an dripping script along with some good performances there by John Abraham, Diana Penty and several other cast members. But when we talk about the box office collection, the movie was able to maintain its momentum with a moderate collection. The reasons could be the genre the film belongs, which may not have the mass entertainment content. Unlike Madras Café and the recently released film Aiyaary based on defense set-up seemed to have performed over the box office.
The fact of the matter is that the film has performed better than the named movies. As per reports, the first week box office collection for Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran reached to around 32.17 crore, which is still a decent figure for the makers. However, now with this Friday few more movies releasing the same day, these would hamper the collection of Parmanu in a big way. Thus it will have a bad shape with the film Veere Di Wedding as the film has a good hype and hence it will hamper the collection of Parmanu in a big way. Although the other film Bhavesh Joshi Superhero released the same day will not have much impact over Parmanu.
The film was released last Friday and it minted around 4.82 crore on the first day which soon gave a decent surge in its first weekend collection. The fact of the matter is that the film has maintained a good grip over the box office. However, with the week days the film was able to get an average of around 3 to 4 crore per day that went on to give the total collection of 32.17 crore. The film is based on the real incidences that dealt with India becoming a nuclear power. It showcases the bomb test explosions that were seen in the nineties. The film deals with the incidents and events dealing with the tests. So what do you think about the same do let us know about it.
