Padmaavat Overseas Box Office Collection : The film is getting a good response

Despite the fierce protests and controversies, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Padmaavat went on to score well not just in the domestic box office but also at the overseas thus giving the message loud and clear that the filmmakers do not have to worry about the mess and irrational objections to the film. The magnum opus by Sanjay Leela Bhansali managed to enter into the 100 crore club in just four days that’s the big treat for the makers. Now, if you look at the overseas collections, the film Padmaavat has managed to make the similar mark giving some outstanding collection as well.

The film starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone has done well at the overseas collection. Hence as per reports, Padmaavat has collected a huge amount with USD $ 12 million, which is around 76.24 crore in the opening weekend. Well, this is a huge number, when many of the films struggle, Padmaavat has scored really well. With such a good collection, the film Padmaavat could easily enter into the top 10 overseas movies soon. For this the film has just to earn around another 8 million USD and then it will beat the Salman Khan starrer movie Tiger Zinda Hai.

In fact, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie has managed to get another benchmark for the film, which include getting a good grosser film for Shahid Kapoor in his career. Shahid seems to be happy with its collection. He expressed his views on the social media calling the film to be an ace movie apart from being a top grosser. While similar is the story for Ranveer Singh as well who has a highest grosser with this film in his career. So, the fierce agitation has turned a blessing in to disguise.
